Content

Being cited and being recommended are two different things.

Content built to be quoted by a model, which is a different job from ranking.

A model can use your page as a source and still recommend somebody else in the sentence. We measured this: a large share of brand mentions in answers come from the link list rather than from the text.

That changes how the content is written. The page has to be quotable, and the brand has to be the answer - and those are two separate pieces of work on the same page.

How it works

01

Write the answer in the first paragraph

No run-up, no scene-setting. A model lifting a fragment takes what stands at the top, and a page that spends three paragraphs arriving at the point gets read as a page without one.

02

Put in something the model cannot get elsewhere

Your own numbers, your own test, a caveat only somebody doing this work would know. Content assembled from what is already public gives a model no reason to prefer your version of it.

03

Write for citation and for recommendation separately

We measured that between 35% and 48% of brand mentions in answers came from the link list rather than from sentences. Being used as a source and being named as the answer are two outcomes; the page has to earn both, and they are earned differently.

04

Check the answer, not the page

After publishing we re-run the prompts on the same engines. If the answer did not change, the page did not do its job - regardless of how it performs in search.

What you get

  • Pages restructured so the answer stands first
  • Original data or specifics no competitor page carries
  • Comparison and alternative formats models reach for
  • Before-and-after measurement on the same prompt set
